Academic collaborations

To attain its goals, the DiReCom Institute fosters a stable cooperation with the other faculties and universities, in particular with research institutes in Canon Law and Ecclesiastical Law matters. On 17 May 2002, the DiReCom Institute and the Canon Law Institute of the Faculty of Theology of the Wien University signed a cooperation agreement about the scientific research. Moreover, since 2007 onwards, because of agreements in educational matters with some Canon Law Faculties, students who graduated in FTL Master of Arts in Comparative Canon and Ecclesiastical Law (course Comparative Canon Law) at the DiReCom Institute can be enrolled on the third year of Master of Arts Canon Law degree (lic.iur.can.) by the respective deans.

The success of the course in German, which was introduced by Prof. Dr. Libero Gerosa and Prof. DDr. Ludger Müller and it is attended by students from Austria, eastern Switzerland and Liechtenstein, is evidence of the outstanding educational path. More details on the page of Master of Arts in German.
