The course of Comparative Canon Law provides the study of Canon Law compared to the law of the other Christian denominations and the primary elements of the legal structures of the other monotheist religions.
To graduate it is necessary to achieve 120 Ects (European Credit Transfer System), that could be obtained at least in a two-years course (4 semesters).
If one possesses the necessary qualifications and already got the Master degree, one can keep studying Canon Law at the Universities of Canon Law (in Italy or in other European countries) with which it endorsed agreements (e.g. Faculty of Saint Pius X Venice, Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and Pontifical Lateran University), in accordance with the Novo Codice instructions regarding the third year and final exams.
Students, who want to get the Master of Arts degree, have to enrol at the Faculty of Theology of Lugano.
