At the DiReCom Institute are currently offered two courses of study.
Master of Arts in Comparative Canon and Ecclesiastical Law, course of Comparative Canon Law
This curriculum aims to specialise spiritual court and ecclesiastical administration workers; to specialise in a professional way jurists and lawyers; to specialise pastoral workers that deal with new immigration; to form theologians interested in law and intercultural issues; besides, it aims to a global knowledge of Canon Law that would combine legal skills with pastoral sensibility. Furthermore, it is designed to keep studying Canon Law at the Universities of Canon Law (in Italy or in other European countries) with which it endorsed agreements (e.g. Faculty of Saint Pius X Venice, Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and Pontifical Lateran University), in accordance with the Novo Codice instructions regarding the third year and final exams.
Master of Arts in Comparative Canon and Ecclesiastical Law, course of Comparative Law of Religions
It aims to educate versatile people:
- Experts on Comparative Law of Religions, with a solid philosophical and theological store, able to foster an overall view, to have a critical judgment and cultural mediation skills;
- Competent in Ecclesiastical Law, not only the Catholic, and in Religions Law, able to foster dialogue and integration between people with different cultures and religions, and also fitting them in different legal systems.
To strengthen more the academic excellence, from the academic year 2018-2019, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Libero Gerosa (Principal of the Institute) for the first time was introduced a seminar for students who already got a doctor’s degree.

Block modules
The DiReCom Institute during every academic year organises modules in block regarding topical subjects that arouse public interest and are open to FTL students and auditors.
